Summers is just around the corner, and most probably, it would not be any different than 2020. The pandemic is constant, and everyone is freaking out with the thought of spending another summer in lockdown.

Last year was terrible, but anything good that came out of it was the teaching of how to have fun on our own. So, if you are getting worried about spending the summers in lockdown then don’t because I have come up with some of the exciting indoor activities that will keep you thrilled throughout the summers.

So, without further ado let’s check out some amazing activities to perform this summer:

Binge Watch with Netflix Watch Party

Netflix watch party works as the virtual cinema where you can enjoy Netflix online with a group of friends and family at the same time regardless of your location. You just need to download its chrome extension and schedule a time for the movie or TV shows where you can watch and pause the streaming at the same time.

If you are living in different regions where the content is not available then you can use Screenbinge’s recommended VPN services to unblock any Netflix region’s content library that can help you sync your Netflix stream from anywhere in the world.

Learn a New Skill (Language, Guitar, Cooking, etc.)

Nothingness generates curiosity, since beach parties and live concerts are out of the question, then why not try learning a new language. Services like Babble, Duolingo, and Memrise are offering an amazing way to learn any new language by spending a few minutes each day. You will have multiple proficiency levels that will make you feel like playing a game while learning a new language.

Similarly, you can learn any new skills like cooking or playing a musical instrument from digital educational websites like Skillshare and Udemy.

Make Money from Home

What can be more fun than getting some extra bucks by working some fun task online? You can literally make money by just listening to music. Slicethepie is the service that offers paid reviews; you just need to listen to some musicians, provide your authentic response as a review, and get paid.

Likewise, if you prefer to explore new websites then you can make money out of it. Usertesting is a platform that offers you money by giving a running commentary on website navigation. For a single website testing, you can make up to $20.

Declutter

Unnecessary stuff in the house produces negative energy, so how about spending this summer mitigating the negative vibe. Make a list of all the items in your house that you have not used in months, it’s time to take them out of the house. Clean, organize and redecorate your house to make it more lively. Take the assistance of YouTube and Pinterest to get more ideas about decluttering.

Start a Side Hustle

If you have any creative idea or pipe dream, lockdown summer is the perfect time to be fearless and experiment with the digital tools to start your side hustle. If you are good at designing, gaming, cooking or even magic then do not hesitate to show it to the world, leverage the digital medium like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok to become an influencer in your niche.

Wrapping Up

Now, you know what you can do with your summertime in lockdown. Grab pen and paper, plan your summertime and make the most out of your indoor lockdown time.
